Backfilling a 2 storey parking garage with me Excavator!
Hi guys,
In the last video you could see how we were digging out a 2 storey parking garage and after about 6 months of digging, leveling and backfilling the concrete colums its finally time to backfill the outside.
The parking garage is bout 9 meters deep and we have to backfill about 5000 cubic meters of sand.
We are using my Takeuchi tb 290 excavator, a Mecalac 8mcr and a trackdumper.
For one side of the parking garage we had to use a conveyor belt because of the limited space.

How do you feel the hydraulic threw the handles if your like digging over water lines ? I don’t know how to ask the question but hope you get what I’m trying to ask
Joseph, this video is a Joke! In real life the levers give kind of a feedback presure. Also when u dig into a cable, rock, piece of pipe or anything u feel resistance, more resistance then when u are normale get. Then u know there is something more then sand or dirt

I think it looks like you are using the bucket and not the tiltrotatorn
Make it easier every say 8 foot take it down to right level on the timble then slew left and right! Now You have your perfect level you can do the rest by eye so you dont have to keep looking at timble! Would act like level pads

If you look at my video "Diggin out a sewer with an Tiltrotator", I think my tilt rotator has been payed back for the biggest part on that job alone! on normal day to day jobs i think within 3500 hours

Waddinxveen waterzuivering sloten trekken met de profielbak, Amsterdam diepdrannaige ingraven. Amsterdam diverse kunstwerken aanleggen, Amsterdam hoofdriool renovatie. Halfweg-Zwanenburg polderdijken in profiel brengen (Nato pijpleidng). Kilometers cunetten uitgraven en sloten trekken in Flevoland. En nog veel meer. Jan? Markus met zijn Mercedes en bokshandschoentjes aan de binnenspiegel. Koffie drinken bij het stort. Goede herinneringen. Is in de verhuur ook wel eens anders geweest, maar daar denken we niet meer aan!

we got the exact same bucket on our L60E att work. good for loading big loads but i fucking hate it becaus vissability is low and 90% of it's job is loading food to the mix wagon for the cow. whould be mutch easyer maintaining a nice silo if i could actualy see what im scooping and not just waste a bunch of sugar beat,mash,silage,corn. allso the ground is realy uneaven so i don't even fully load the bucket when loading the dump truck just becaus im so afraid of tiping over from having to mutch weight to high up while driving in to deep potholes
You hate driving your loader everyday because of potholes ...... hey here's an idea and thinking out of the box ..... maybe use that loader to fix the potholes???? Seems like using a day to repair your roads you travel everyday moving across would be a small investment of time for a big return in productivity? No?

goeie dag bob, vraagje: hoeveel extra gewicht heb je onder je ballast van de de 290. ik draai ook met een 290 op stalle rupsen (60 cm) met rubber bolken er op, waarschijnlijk zet ik hem weer op rubber tracks maar dan ben ik een hoop ballast kwijt. mijn ketting moet vervangen na 6700 uur is die aardig op. en mijn werkzaamheden zijn wat verander. dus kan het den ook af met rubber tracks
Hee klaas, ik zou altijd kiezen voor een extra contra gewicht! ik denk dat de mijne ruim 400 kg is. het creëert veel extra stabiliteit

Yes we do, I have almost never seen a skid steer in oure work. main reason I think is 75% of the time the dirt is solid and good enough to drive on. when its not we use trackdumpers.
